Scientific Background
Im professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Skopje, Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (RN Macedonia). I`m teaching in the domain of Sustainable Building Design. My PhD is in Sustainability Assessment Methods in buildings design. My research focus is sustainable and passive design principles, circular design approach, optimization, sustainable materials and LCA. The research papers I have published in journal with impact factor are in the topics of Sustainable Buildings, design, optimization, refurbishment of buildings in terms of energy efficiency, environmental pollution from buildings, their economic aspects, LCA etc. Currently my research interest is oriented towards geothermal system which is aligned with the topic of the CA 21103 Action.
Motivation
My motivation to join the action is to contribute to the Actions` aims and objectives, especially in the WG1 and WG3. Even more Im interested in networking with peers within this Action in order to collaborate on achieving the Actions` aims. Also, the new partnerships which will be established during the Action will provide opportunity to prepare new research projects, publish papers and to brainstorm ideas for new possible project applications in the future. This Action provides me possibilities for my growth as a researcher as well as to further develop in the domain of deposition on forests. Meeting new colleagues from Europe working in the same domain would be invaluable experience for my scientific and academic advancement.
Contribution
I believe that with my knowledge and expertise I can significantly contribute to the aims and objectives of the CA 21103 Action as stated in the MoU. In that regard I'm interested in joining the WG1: Circularity strategies and best practices and WG3: Circular KPIs framework, considering they adress my research interest. They will also provide opportunity to collaborate with peers in the same research domain.
